Grand Egyptian Museum
The day has finally arrived! The Grand Egyptian Museum’s main artifact galleries and exhibit halls finally opened to the public yesterday, Wednesday, October 16th. However, there are some very important caveats to be aware of with regards to this opening announcement.
If you missed our detailed video about the announcement that was released the day before the public opening on The Egypt Travel Channel, you can view it directly here at this link. This announcement video contains important information about what you can expect to see – and not see – within these newly opened main galleries.
We also sent a videographer to do comprehensive filming of these new galleries and exhibit halls on their first day of being open to the public, and we’ll have that new video available to share with you next week, also via The Egypt Travel Channel.
If you’re not yet subscribed to The Egypt Travel Channel on YouTube, be sure to do so here in order to receive the latest comprehensive video updates about developments related to the Grand Egyptian Museum and tourism in Egypt generally. We have several new series currently in development including a new video version of The Best Hotels of Egypt, a new behind-the-scenes show about the daily life of tour operators in Egypt called Dreaming of Egypt, and much more on the way soon.
