His Eminence Metropolitan Nikodemus of Nigeria, accompanied by Fr. James Nwaba and Miss Deborah Omorere of the Social Outreach Team of the Resurrection Cathedral Lagos, performed a charitable visit to the Down Syndrome Foundation Home lju Fagba, Lagos.

His Eminence was graciously received by the President of the Foundation, Mrs Mordi, together with her team of administrative staff, teachers, medical personnel, caregivers, and some students of the institution who were overjoyed to welcome him.

After a comprehensive tour of the facility, showcasing the various departments at the home – bakery, music, fitness, sewing, poultry, crafts, etc, the Archbishop made a magnanimous donation of flour parcels, macaroni, noodles and other staple foods, courtesy of Flour Mills Nigeria to further support our long partnership with the Foundation.

As he thanked and commended them on their hospitality and good work, the Metropolitan also gave them an Icon of the Virgin Mary to protect them.
