Greece donate another 30.000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Libya
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement at the official ceremony for the donation of vaccines to Libyan people
I have to say that the reality around the airport is totally different than the one I saw almost three years ago, when I was here for the first time. Yet again, needs still exist in Libya and in our effort to help the Libyan society, I brought with me 30.000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to be added to the 200.000 doses we have already provided last summer.
And I would like to reiterate that Greece is always willing and able to give you as many doses of vaccines as you can absorb. The Greek society considers health as a public good and all the people of the world are entitled to it.
Again, thank you so much. And, when I come here again, I hope to see this airport in this country at an even more advanced stage.
