Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis meets with the Ambassadors of the Arab countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis, met today with the Ambassadors and Chargés d’affaires of the Arab countries, with whom he discussed the latest developments in the Middle East.

The Minister underlined Greece’s traditional bonds of friendship with the Arab world. During the discussion, he elaborated on the five-point plan that he recently presented at the EU-Gulf Cooperation Council Ministerial Meeting in Oman, placing particular emphasis on the protection of civilians and the necessity to establish humanitarian corridors.
