Τα θερμά συλλυπητήρια του Πατριάρχη Θεοδώρου Β΄, προς τον Αιγύπτιο Πρόεδρο Σίσι, για τα 33 θύματα από τις πρόσφατες τρομοκρατικές επιθέσεις

Την 26^η Οκτωβρίου ε.έ., η Α.Θ.Μ., ο Πάπας και Πατριάρχης Αλεξανδρείας και πάσης Αφρικής κ.κ. Θεόδωρος Β’, απέστειλε επιστολή προς τον Πρόεδρο της Αιγύπτου Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, εκφράζοντας τα ειλικρινή του συλληπητήρια για τους 33 στρατιώτες-θύματα της τρομοκρατικής επιθέσεως στη χερσόνησο του Σινά και διατυπώνοντας την αμέριστη συμπαράστασή του στον αγώνα του αιγυπτιακού κράτους εναντίον της τρομοκρατίας.

Your Excellency,

 

 

 

         Through the present Patriarchal Letter, we would like to extend to Υour Most Honorable Person and to the Government of our most beloved Egypt our deepest condolences for the innocent Egyptian soldiers that have fallen victims to the atrocious and appalling terrorist attack in the Sinai Peninsula.

 

 

         At this difficult and sad moment for the Egyptian Nation, we would like to reiterate our unconditional commitment to the national unity, and our unreserved confidence in the harmonious coexistence of all the Egyptian citizens, that You personally guarantee for the welfare and prosperity of Egypt. We stand by Your side in Your effort to eradicate the social disease of terrorism, to defend the territorial integrity of Egypt, and to avert any external or internal attempt to derail the national effort towards prosperity.

 

 

         Fervently praying to the All Mighty and Most Merciful God to protect and save Egypt from any harm, we wish Your Excellency to guide the Egyptian people far from the regional turbulence to the safe haven of peace in the name of God.
